(*) Water resistance
Important information on water resistance:

The information is based on the manufacturer's specifications for the watch cases. Everyone must decide for themselves how far the information can be trusted. Unfortunately, I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the information, as my testing capability ends at 6 bar water pressure, which is measured statically. However, if the test is passed, it confirms whether at least a groundwater tightness is really present. If so, I will publish photos of the test in the photo gallery and mention the results in the description text. If you want to be absolutely sure, you can order a test with professional equipment from a well-equipped watchmaker's workshop. Today's measuring technology allows tests to be carried out at much higher pressures (without risk to the watch).
Here is a table with the correct interpretation of the data:

Notes:
- The depth values given are theoretical test depths in the laboratory, not the actual depth of use.
- Movements in the water, temperature changes and ageing of the seals reduce the actual water resistance.
- A watch with “30 m waterproof” is not suitable for swimming, only protected against splashing water.
